Ruth Edison

Ruth Edison 1937 -2018 Dallas – Ruth Brown Edison, 81, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2018 at the Brian Center, Lincolnton. She was born in Gaston County on February 9, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Zora Brown; her husband, Max Ray Edison, sons, Rodney, Timmy and Arnold Eidson, and a grandson, Jeffery Eidson, her brother Charles Brown, her in laws, Arnold and Pearl Edison. Survivors are sister-in-law, Carole Lineberger, daughter-in-law, Stephanie Howe and numerous nieces, nephews and very good friends. Ruth always had a smile on her face and willing to lend a helping hand. Ruth worked as an Office Administrator for a textile mill for many years. She will be forever missed by her family and many friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29th at First United Methodist Church. A Reception will follow the service at the Dallas High School Apartment Building. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 301 W. Main Street, Dallas, NC 28034.
