Ruth was born on January 4, 1946, in Opelousas, LA. She was the new year's baby. She entered the Gates of Heaven on December 11, 2024. She was steadfast in her Catholic faith, which she instilled in her children. She was truly a tireless and dedicated devoted mother. She enjoyed the simple things in life, her coffee, rocking chair, a good visit, black berry picking, fishing and crabbing. She was delighted to have her coke floats, boiled crawfish, fried shrimp and apple pie. She was well read and eager to learn new things. She had a love of animals, especially dogs and horses. She absolutely glowed while spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playful joking and a good laugh, her pretty blue eyes would sparkle. She walked this earth with God by her side, Mary, Jesus and her family in her heart. She is loved and will be truly missed.
