Ruth Ann Hartman

Ruth Ann Hirt Hartman, 98, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert Hartman; loving mother of David, Paul (Mary Jo) and Diane (Jeff Counihan); amusing "Crazy" Grandma of David, Zack, Matt, Kristina (Tom Lickert), Betty (Ryan Sevic), Caite (Dan Cortese) and John; daughter of the late John and Rose Hirt; and sister of the late Rose Witz, Marie Kanzleiter, John Hirt, Imelda Vogel, Richard Hirt and Catherine Knorr. Ruth loved many things, including: her grandchildren, animals, watching TV until dawn, referring to everyone as "honey girl", and (most of all) dessert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 29, at St. Catherine Laboure Parish, St. Louise de Marillac Church. Interment private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
