Ruth Ann Hobbs

Ruth Ann Hobbs 94, passed away on February 5, 2026. Ruth Ann was a licensed beautician for 75 years. She operated a beauty shop in Kingfisher before opening her shop on the farm in Hennessey. She was always happiest doing hair and did so until a few days before her passing. Ruth Ann married Clinton Hobbs in 1955. Ruth Ann and Clint had one son JC, two granddaughters Cynthia and Lisa, and one great-grandson Oliver. Her granddaughters and great-grandson were one of the greatest joys of her life. Ruth Ann was a Grandma to many. Everywhere she went friends would adopt her as their Grandma. Ruth Ann loved to go "Tripping" with her family. Many memories were made on trips to Colorado, Florida, California Wine Country, Hawaii, Arizona, and most recently a trip to Maine. Ruth Ann was a wonderful caretaker. She loved helping friends by taking them to doctor's appointments and shopping.

Ruth Ann is proceeded in death by her husband Clint, five brothers, and two sisters. Ruth Ann is survived by her son JC and his wife Sally, her granddaughters Cynthia, Lisa and her husband Josh, her great-grandson Oliver, and her sister, Velda.

There will be a private family graveside service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.
