Ruth Huff

Ruth Huff, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and perhaps her favorite role, grandma, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024.
She married her high school sweetheart, Ralph, and they were inseparable. They shared a love of tennis, playing together for many years, and always watching the major tournaments. They worked together building and remodeling homes across the country, many of which won awards for their designs. They were best friends and soulmates.
Ruth was elegant, graceful, welcoming, and caring. She loved deeply, worried more about others than herself and always wanted everyone to be happy. She was our biggest supporter and cheerleader, reminding us that we can do anything that we set our minds to. She was immensely proud of her family, especially her granddaughter.
Throughout her life, Ruth was focused on making memories - even little things became special. The after-school snacks she made were homemade meals served on fancy dishes. On football Sundays, she would prepare large appetizer spreads. Every holiday was an opportunity for themed decorations and foods. She loved to entertain and made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.
We will always remember her creativity, caring nature, and the immense pride she felt for her family.
