Of Arlington Heights
Ruth S. Kirchhoff was born November 3, 1923 in Arlington Heights to Theodor F. and Selma (nee Windheim) Studtmann. She died February 24, 2023 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
Ruth was a long time and active member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir. She participated in many activities at Luther Village
Ruth is survived by her children Lynn (Russell) Hodgden and Russ E. (Lynn) Kirchhoff; her grandchildren Heather (Philip) Robarge, Jeffrey (Sarah) Hughes, Adam (Angelica) Kirchhoff and Benjamin (Melissa) Kirchhoff; her great grandchildren Laura (Ryan) Drevlow, Kaitlyn Robarge, Tyson Robarge and Charlotte Fe Kirchhoff; her great great grandchildren Wylynn, Gracelynn, Joy, Moses, Esther and Eli Drevlow; her brother in law Charles (late Dorothy) Ringstrand.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Elmer Louis Kirchhoff; by her sister Nelda (late Lewis) Reguly and by her parents.
Visitation Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 from 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 11 AM. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to ProMedica Foundation, 444 N. Summit Street, Suite 100, Toledo, OH 43604 of Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005
