Funeral services for Ruth Mulkey Knight, age 84, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mrs. Knight passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include: one daughter, Pam Snow (Barry); two sons, Glenn Knight and Mark Knight (Lisa); special nephew, Mike Kirkland; grandchildren, Michael Knight, Brittney Knight (Tim), Keila Kirkland (Gary), Amanda Crenshaw (Colby); great-grandchildren, Justice, John Ray, Braelyn Davis, Canaan Crenshaw, Creek Crenshaw, and Zac Brown.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Freeman, Daniel Hodges, Scott Hodges, Richie Hodges, Colby Crenshaw, and Chase Brown.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Knight was born on April 13, 1941, the daughter of Leslie James and Eula Mae Mulkey. She was a member of Gray Hill Church of God where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was a very devoted member. Mrs. Knight worked as a supervisor at Fashion Starr. She loved puzzles, reading, crocheting, and quilting, and loved her flowers. Mrs. Knight also loved taking care of her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard Knight; and sisters, Sue Johnson, Loette Harrison, Joel Starr, and Lerline Smallwood.

Memorials may be floral.
