Ruth Lange Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 13, 2024.
Ruth Lange passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2024. She was born on November 22, 1931, in Bell County, Texas.
Ruth graduated from the first class of the University of Texas Nursing School. She worked as a public health nurse in Austin for many years.
Ruth and Leroy, the love of her life, were married for 63 years. In 1985, they retired to their Round Rock ranch. Through the years, Ruth and Leroy traveled the world together, enjoyed square dancing, and entertaining family and friends at their Lampasas ranch. They spent many hours hunting and watching wild game.
Ruth, who is known for her generosity and wisdom, had a dry sense of humor. She could shoot a turkey and serve it for lunch with a perfect table setting and centerpiece. Ruth was always a lady, and we will miss her.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Lange; parents, Edd and Alma Spinn; and brothers, Allen Ray Spinn and James Spinn.
Ruth is survived by her brother, Will Spinn and wife Kay; nieces and nephews, Kelli Borrego and husband Albert, Angela Ralston and husband Bobby, Trey Spinn and wife Rebekah; Debbie Peterson and Blaine, Keith Spinn, Craig Spinn and wife Kelle; and special loved ones, Jennifer Jones and Wes Lunsford, and Kirk Scholars.
Ruth was a life-long Lutheran; she is currently a member of Palm Valley Lutheran Church.
A celebration of Ruth's life will be held on January 4 at 11:00AM at Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock.
