Ruth Lewis Obituary
She was a member of Grace and Truth Fellowship Church. Ruth enjoyed gardening & cooking, her daily coffee and listening to Elvis Presley but her favorite thing was spending time with her family who loved her dearly.
On Sunday, July 31, 1955 she married Cletus Eugene Lewis. He preceded her in death.
Ruth is survived by one daughter, Ann Robinson of Wappapello; one son, Jerry Lewis of Fisk; one sister Lois Younger of Katy, TX; one grandson, Anthony Robinson of Poplar Bluff; three granddaughters Christina Davis of Poplar Bluff; Michaela Bedocs of Milan, TN and Andrea Vaughn of Fisk; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by one son, Cletus Ray Lewis and one brother, Harvey Williams,
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Sparkman Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Pastor Kevin McAnulty officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary contributions be sent to White-Sanders Funeral Home to assist with Ruth's funeral expenses. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
