Ruth Elaine Lupton

Lupton, Ruth Elaine age 84 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 at her home. She was born September 3, 1940 in Mendon, Ohio to the late Charles and Dorothy {Boroff} Dutton. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, former husband Ronald Bertke Sr. and brother Kenneth Dutton. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Donald Lupton Sr., children Ron (Michelle) Bertke Jr. and Ryan (Tabatha) Bertke of Tipp City, stepchildren Myriah Lupton of California and Donald Lupton Jr. of Troy, Ohio and siblings Richard Dutton of Tennessee and Mary Patton of Springfield, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren Brandon "Shea" Bertke, Cory Bertke, Lucas Bertke, Jenna (Tyler) Dawson, Emily (Dallas) Muldoon, LeAnne and Journey Bertke and great grandchildren Zion and Orion Bertke.

Ruth was a bookkeeper at her church in Celina where she also enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved flowers and being outdoors. Her greatest passion was taking care of the neighborhood kids and nurturing them as they grew. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Father Kyle Schnippel, Celebrant. The burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.
