Ruth Yvonne Madison, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called home on September 24, 2024, in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on May 28, 1935, in Wichita, Kansas to Roy Bates and Loemma Ohsner.
Yvonne’s culinary talents were a testament to her warm and nurturing spirit. She was known for being able to cook just about everything, filling her home with the delicious aromas of love and comfort. Meals shared together became cherished gatherings, where family and friends felt the warmth of her heart. Ruth also had a passion for round dancing, which brought rhythm and joy into her life. Ruth devoted her professional life to serving as a medical assistant for various doctors. Her dedication to caring for others extended beyond her career; she truly was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a title she cherished deeply.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert, her parents Roy and Loemma, and daughter Jacki George.
Yvonne is survived by sons Jerry Madison, and Mike Madison and his wife Dawn, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and son-in-law Kim George.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, located at 711 S Main St, Grove, OK 74344, on October 4, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. The warmth of her presence will forever linger in the hearts of all those she touched, as they gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Yvonne Madison.
