Ruth Meinzer Obituary
Ruth Meinzer, 79, of Bucyrus passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 19, 2025, in her home. Ruth was born September 12, 1945, in North Auburn, Ohio to the late Cyril and Mildred (Laipply) Donnersbach. She was married April 24,1965 to Kenneth P. Meinzer who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Kenneth P. Meinzer Jr.; brothers Norbert, George, Arthur, Thomas, Michael and Charles and sisters Rita Hoffbauer, Doris Weaver, and Bernice Donnersbach.
Ruth is also survived by daughters Micki Hillman of Bucyrus and Suzy (Nathan) Schneider of Cincinnati; grandchildren Gavin Meinzer, Alec, Ryan, and Macy Hillman, Braden, Cooper and Kennedy Schneider; brother Daniel Donnersbach; and sisters Mary Silverman, Loretta (Phil) Schneider, and Esther Morgan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruth graduated from Buckeye Central High School in 1963 and retired from the Timken Company. She enjoyed Poker, Bingo and games of all sorts with her family. She also loved shopping, watching golf and spending time with her grandkids.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Services will be held at 4:00 pm following visitation. The family suggests memorials be made to St Jude.
