She was born July 6, 1940, in Norwalk to the late Guy and Hellen (Holmes) Burdue. Ruthie as she was known by enjoyed crafting and cross stitching. Her family was a big part of her life with 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Alice Gibson of NC, Vicky Canterbury of Norwalk, Dawn Morrow of CA; sons, Charles "Chuck" Morrow of Norwalk and Chris Morrow of NC; sister, Mary Knapp of Rochester, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Aaron "Gene" Eugene Morrow in 2024; son, Jerry Morrow; grandson, Jeremy "Jay" Morrow; and great-grandson, Cody Hardy; and daughter, Laura Norwood; son-in-law, Mike Gibson; brothers, Charles and Ralph Burdue; and sister, Maretta Niciu; and in-laws, Lora and Leonard Wilbur.
At Ruth's request there will be no viewing or services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park.
