Ruth A. Muth

Ruth A. Hagan Muth, 61, of Erie, passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Meadville on July 21, 1962, a daughter of Gloria M. Hanna and the late Kenneth J. Hagan. She married Gregory B. Muth, who preceded her in death on June 14, 2014.
Ruth graduated from Strong Vincent High School and worked as an Administration Assistant at Gaudenzia Drug and Alcohol Counseling for a number of years. She was a member of Elevate Church and enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with family.
In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Bithell, and two additional sisters in infancy.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Joshua Rodney (Katie) of Erie; her daughter, Lisa Morris (Deanthony Dickerson) of Erie; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Gabriella, Hailey, Giaonna, Jeremiah, and Deontae; her sister, Patti Hagan (Bobby) of Ohio; her brother, Ken Hagan (Jo Ann) of Iowa; her brother-in-law, Dave Bithell of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt and Son Funeral Home, 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Ruth's family would like to sincerely thank the entire staff at the Hillman Cancer Center for their loving care given to Ruth.
