Ruth Ann Nagel, 62, of Independence, Missouri passed away on April 4, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Buckner Hill Cemetery in Buckner, MO. Memorials are suggested to Independence Animal Services or to the Disabled Veterans of America. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Ruth was born January 3, 1960, in Independence, MO, to Raymond Edwin and Elma C. (Barnett) Nagel. Ruth graduated from Fort Osage High School. Following high school she began work at Montgomery Wards for several years. Ruth started her career with Hallmark in July of 1987 where she worked for 36 years until her passing. In addition to spending time with her family and friends Ruth enjoyed attending country music concerts and photography.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Nagel of Levasy, MO; one brother, Terry Nagel of Levasy, MO and many relatives and friends.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents.
