Ruth and I worked together at Harte Elementary School. I remember her as a dedicated and competent teacher. She was a treasured friend. She spoke often and lovingly of her children. I extend sympathy to the family.

My sincerest condolences and prayers to you all. So many fond memories especially those piano lessons that she so patiently taught me. The recitals too at her beloved Pleasant Zion.
She´d been on my mind heavily the last couple of weeks and I´m so sorry I didn´t pick up the phone. She will be sorely missed.
May the angels come to meet her where God is. Well done!
Peace, comfort and strength to you all.

To the family,
I am saddened to hear that Ruth has transitioned, but I also rejoice when I hear that a loving family member will be at home with the Lord. To the Ortique and Severan families, my sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. May God continue to comfort you as our Father comforts us all. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
