Ruth Jo Anne Ralls, 79, of Prineville, Oregon, passed away on Sunday March 8, 2026.

Ruth was born on September 8, 1946, in Moorhead, Minnesota, to Florence and Bert Mason. She lived in Sabin, Minnesota until 1952 when her family moved to Oregon. She graduated from Springfield Senior High School in Springfield, Oregon in 1964.

Ruth served in the United States Navy from January 1967-January 1970 and was stationed in Massachusetts.

Ruth worked for the United States Postal Service in Redmond, Oregon for many years before retiring in 2012.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoyed gardening, tending to her roses, traveling, baking, making jewelry, and collecting antiques. She especially loved animals, spending time with her grandchildren, the color red and had a keen sense of fashion.

Ruth is survived by her husband Ronnie Ralls, daughter Catrina Rhoten, two grandchildren Lily and Hudson Rhoten, five sisters Susan Sanford, Kay Jordan, Fay Endicott, Sharon Hyde, Sandy Mason and two brothers Zane Mason and Dallas Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lee Murray.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2026, at 12pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prineville, Oregon. A graveside service will follow at 2pm at Juniper Haven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of the Ochocos in Ruth Ralls memory.

Ruth will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
