Ruth (Roberts) Morris was called home to our Lord on Tuesday, Aug 5, 2025.

Born January 30, 1937 to parents Walter and Alice Roberts of which she was the oldest of three girls along with two half-sisters and a half-brother. Ruth grew up in Montrose but lived in various communities after she married her husband Scott Morris on May 21, 1955. Together they had five children. They would eventually settle in Delta.

Ruth was known as a devout Christian and a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Delta. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her large family that included a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her friends and church family. Watching her children and grandchildren play sports was her favorite pass time.

Ruth is survived by her children Robert Lane, Russell and Randall Morris and her sister Anna (Fender) Burden and Judy (Roberts) Ubben . She is also survived by her Daughter-in-law Agada (Edward) Morris. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alice, husband Scott, sisters Beverly and Donna, a half-brother Walter Scott Roberts III, son Edward and daughter Kay Honeycutt.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, Aug 16, 2025 at Church of Christ 164 Grand Blvd. Delta CO, Wayne Kitchens officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
