Ruth Florence Sharrow-Gilmore

RUTH FLORENCE SHARROW-GILMORE It is with deep sadness that we announce our loving mother, Ruth Florence (Katzberg) Sharrow-Gilmore, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in her home in Lupton, MI, at the age of 91. She was born in West Branch, MI, to Edward and Marie (Jeske) Katzberg. Ruth spent many years as a manager in Beeline Fashions. She loved the Lord. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch. She attended and helped out in the church when she could, until she could no longer attend due to her declining health. Ruth enjoyed all of the flower beds that she had in her yard and tended to them when she could. She also enjoyed it when her friends and family would stop by regularly to visit and bring goodies. Ruth is survived by her sons, William E. Sharrow and John (Diana) Sharrow, son-in-law Cliff Gross, and 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands William D. Sharrow and Don Gilmore, daughter Evelyn Gross, grandson Danny Sharrow, and sisters Evelyn Miller and Marie Miller. Visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Carl Petzold will officiate. The burial will be at Selkirk Cemetery in West Branch. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
