Ruth Shoemaker Obituary
She is survived by her children Kathy Jo & Robert Lee and Ralph & Christell Shoemaker; her grandchildren Becky & Andrew, Patrick & Sabrina, Cassidy, RJ and Matthew; her great granddaughters Aria & Kinsley-Grey; her siblings Leon & Sandy Grier, Richard Grier, Evelyn & Bill Stark and Jim & Debbie Grier and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends including Nancy Cady.
She attended the First Church of the Nazarene, volunteered for Vacation Bible School and for A Night in Bethlehem. She was a Ladies Auxiliary member for the Port Crane Fire Dept. She arranged many benefits and fundraisers for family members and friends. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and listening to her wind chimes but most of all she loved watching her grandchildren line dance and spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends at the Touch of Texas, 1240 Front Street, Binghamton, NY, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 12-1pm. A Celebration of Ruth's Life will begin at 1pm with Rev. Robert St. Clair officiating.
