Ruth Ann Smith

Ruth Ann Smith, 84, of Lakeside, OH and formerly Washington, PA passed away on February 23, 2026, at her home in Lakeside, surrounded by her loving family. Ruth Ann was born on September 30, 1941, in Washington, PA to James M. and Ruth (Morris) Hall. She graduated from Connellsville High School in 1959. Ruth Ann retired as a Medical Office Manager working for E. Ronald Salvitti, MD, Inc.

Surviving is her sister: Rebecca Keenan of Lakeside; sons: Scott Francis of Little Rock, AR, Michael (Tammie) Francis of Delaware, OH; grandchildren: Samantha Francis, Alexa Francis, and Sawyer Francis. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Judith Hall Bishop.

Ruth Ann was a family-first individual. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and her beloved dogs. Among her cherished moments were the quiet, early mornings at Lakeside and time spent making memories with her family.
