Ruth Isabelle Surrette

Ruth I. Surrette, age 82, of Knoxville passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Preceded in death by father, Alvis Weaver; mother, Cora Weaver; brothers, Hugh Weaver, Don Weaver, Kelso Weaver, Cliff Weaver, Herb Weaver; sister, Dixie Weaver; late husband, Robert Surrette; and spouse, Buford Loveday. She is survived by son, Jeff Surrette; daughter, Sharon Surrette; grandchildren, Ricky Loveday, Brittany Loveday, Travis Tindell, Lacie Jasso, Brandon Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Brittany Jones, and Brooklyn Jones; great grandchildren, Bella Sharp, Brice Tindell, Gage Tindell, RJ Jasso, and Gidean Jasso; sister-in-law, Margaret Weaver. The family would like to offer special acknowledgment to the Hilcrest family of 20 years, and to best friend, Sandy McBee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday April 5, 2024, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. Rev. Alan Smith officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Saturday April 6, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment service.
