Ruth Szymanski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Inc. - Lansdale on Jul. 2, 2025.
Anna "Ruth" Szymanski, aged 65, of Sellersville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Richard Szymanski. Born on February 6, 1960, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Francis Lee Croak (wife Betty) of Lehighton and the late mother, Anna Ruth (Ensle) Croak.
Ruth was known for her vibrant spirit and love for life. She was employed at several local companies and was an avid golfer, with her family fondly remembering the joy she felt when she achieved a hole-in-one. Riding motorcycles was another passion that brought her immense happiness.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard, her daughters Anna Ruth Twigg of Hatfield and Dorothy Marie Winters (Taylor) of Quakertown, and her step-daughters from previous marriage Heather Twigg of Virginia, Kim Szymanski Valencia (Jorge) of Philadelphia, and Lynn Martin (Josh) of Buffalo, NY. Ruth was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Robert, Sarah, Ethan, Elijah, and Elenora. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Snyder (Donald) of Pennsburg, her brother Francis L. Croak, Jr. of Harrisburg, and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ruth's family remembers her as a beloved wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend who loved her family very much.
