Ruth Szymanski Obituary
Beloved wife of the late Norbert for 54 years until his passing. Loving mother of Diane (the late Robert) Hinz, Kenneth Szymanski and Nancy (Gene) Wilson. Cherished grandmother of Nannette, the late James, Mathew, Heather, Andrea, Jennifer, Robert and Kenneth. Adored great-grandmother of Jackson, Nicholas; Samantha, Vladmir, Tracie, Isabella; Taylor, Benjamin, Lucas; Ted, Lacey, Brandon, LilliAnn; Jared, Ivy, June and Asher; and great-great-grandmother to 6. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa Widon; brothers, John and Stanley; and sisters Mary, Rita, Eleanor, Jean and Joan. Ruth lived a long life enjoying many things including her RV club, gardening, sewing, and making crafts for her craft shows. Ruth's most favorite activity of all was being with her family. Visitation Monday 2-8pm and Tuesday 1-8pm with 7pm Rosary at Wujek- Calcaterra & Sons Inc., 54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township. Instate 9:30 am Wednesday, 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Kieran Church, 53600 Mound Road, Shelby Township. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
