Ruth Warren Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by William G. Basralian Funeral Service on May 6, 2025.
Ruth Warren, longtime resident of New Milford, passed away on May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 91.
Ruth was known by many, and loved by all. She had a restless spirit that was never satisfied to simply sit at home. She was an active member of the New Milford Women's Club, Past Presidents Club of the NJ State Federation of Women's Clubs, and a member of the Eastern Star. Aside from the clubs, she was an avid traveler who would consistently get lost with all her friends. She loved to take her grandchildren to Elk Lake and teach them all how to cheat at cards.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Russell Warren and son John Warren. She is survived by her devoted children Russell Warren, Jr. (Claire), Linda Barron (Tyrone), and Jeffrey Warren (Cindy). Cherished grandmother of Russell S. Warren, III (Haley), Christopher J. Warren (Colleen), Megan Barron, Kathleen Barron, Sean Barron, Joshua Warren, Jason Warren, and Jonathan Warren and great-grandmother of Russell S. Warren, IV., and Hudson Warren.
Family and friends will be welcomed at Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, NJ on Friday, May 9th from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 10th at 10AM with interment following to George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in her memory to the New Milford Women's Club which can be mailed to New Milford Women's Club care of Janet Dengel at 341 Marguerite Street, New Milford NJ 07646 or to Shriners Children's Hospital, www.shrinerschildrens.org.
