Renaee worked tirelessly at Dairy Dart for 50 years where she was co-owner with her sister Marsha and brothers Ricky and Shane.
Renaee was a woman who loved to serve others, free of charge, expecting nothing in return.
Her family meant everything to her. She especially loved Christmas time and the yearly family vacations at the beach, the more the merrier, which was her happy and comforting place. She loved going on cruises, the KY Wildcats, and most of all North Laurel Sports.
Renaee was a beautiful, sweet, caring and loving Christian who loved her family more than anything. She was a lifetime member of Carmichael Community Church and was always proud of her HERITAGE which she testified about many times. She loved serving the Lord. She was at one time congregational song leader and choir director, which was one of her most cherished accomplishments. She had a deep knowledge of the bible and loved scriptures and songs she carried in her heart. She will always be remembered crying out in a loud voice "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY "praising her Lord and Savior.
Vacation Bible School was very special to her, and she always made sure the children had plenty of snacks and felt welcomed and loves. She also faithfully delivered food to those in need through the church food pantry. She was also co-director of the annual Christmas Dinner where she made her famous fruit punch everyone enjoyed.
Renaee began singing at a young age, having a beautiful soprano voice. Other than being a solo singer, she sang with her brothers Ricky and Timmy as The Hensley Trio. Later Shaye started singing with Renaee and Ricky, then just called The Hensley's. Throughout the years she sang many songs, most being remembered her solo "I Know the Master of the Wind" and The Hensley's most popular song "Magnificent Jesus" written by her cousin C.A. Williams.
Renaee will be greatly missed but forever remembered for her faith, her servant's heart, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
