Barbara Mae Sizemore Roark

Barbara Mae Sizemore Roark, of London, Kentucky was born on January 31, 1951 in Leslie County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Burley Sizemore and Carrie Roark Sizemore-Bowling She was united in marriage to Carl Roark who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Carl Wayne Roark and wife Wanda of London; a brother, Keith Bowling of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Rhonda Southard and Brandon Southard (Jennifer); two great-grandchildren, Brinley Southard and Bristal Southard plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Barbara Mae Sizemore Roark departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2026 at the age of 75 years and 25 days.

The funeral service for Barbara Mae Sizemore Roark will be conducted at 1 pm Monday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Denzil Jones and Mike McGary officiating. Burial will follow in the Earl Bowling Cemetery in East Bernstadt.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11 am Monday until the funeral hour of 1 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Evans, James Davidson, Gary Bowling, Danny Muncy, Deon Evans and Chris Mills.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Southard and Tom Johnson.
