Dora Marie Hubbard Hammack

Dora Marie Hubbard Hammack, a beloved resident of London, Kentucky, passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on April 22, 1945, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of the late Harvey Hubbard and Alice Bullock Hubbard. Dora was united in marriage to Franklin Delano Hammack, who preceded her in death.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her children: Clinton Hammack and wife Dorothy, Franklin Hammack, Etta Kennett and husband Chuck, all of London, and Jennifer Ridnour and husband Scott of Tyner, Kentucky. Dora is also survived by her siblings: Chester Hubbard and wife Lexie, Rosie Merritt and husband Wendell, Carolyn Hammack, and Freda Lynn Arnold, all of London. Her legacy continues through her ten grandchildren, Amber McWhorter, Charles Kennett III, Jessica Sawyers, Matthew House, Joshua Shepherd, Katlyn Shepherd, Haley Trayner, Kendall Hammack, Tasha Ridnour, Walker Ridnour and Jeffrey Angel and seven great-grandchildren, Allison Shepherd, Andrew Trayner, Chestina Trayner, Axel Middleton, Brandon Sawyers, Brayden Sawyers and Khloe House, along with a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dora was preceded in death by two children, Rita House and Anthony Hammack, and two siblings, Jesse Hubbard and Zana Faye Gross.

Dora was a loving homemaker to her family and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

The funeral service for Dora Hammack will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Krahenbuhl and Tony Krahenbuhl officiating. Burial will follow in East Colony Cemetery in London.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6 pm Friday at Bowling Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Charles Kennett, Joshua Shepherd, Shawn Carroll, Scott Hammack, Joshua Carroll and Joseph Carroll.
