Marilyn Douglas Obituary
She leaves behind her son, Micheal Gregory & Sherri Dawn Baker of East Bernstadt, KY; her brother, James Blanton & wife Ruth of Mt. Vernon, KY; her grandson, Michael Gregory; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Nannie Jackson Blanton; and by two brothers, Daniel Blanton & David Blanton.
Marilyn was a devoted homemaker who leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and quiet dedication to those she cared for most. She spent her life creating a welcoming home for her family, always putting their needs before her own and taking great pride in caring for them.
Marilyn found joy in the simple moments of life. She especially loved her cats, whose companionship brought her comfort and happiness through the years. Her gentle nature and nurturing spirit made her home a place where family always felt loved and cared for.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to her family, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Marilyn's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service honoring Marilyn Douglas will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at West London Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
