Ruth Webb Obituary God called another angel home today: Ruth Ann Webb, 81, passed away Saturday (December 28, 2024) at Southeastern Med OhioHealth, Cambridge.
She was born September 20, 1943 in Ravenna, daughter of the late Lula Mae Seibert.
Ruth was a graduate of Byesville High School. She retired in 2000 from March Electric, where she had been a line worker for thirty-five years.
She was a long-time member of the VFW Post 2901 of Cambridge.
Ruth was a wonderful mom, grandma, sister, and friend to many.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Pete Dixon; her grandfather, John Seibert; her grandmother, Hazel Seibert; two sisters, Thelma Hardesty and Sandra Fitchett; and her aunt, Eithel.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Jackie L. Webb, whom she married November 12, 1966; three sons, Jack (& Faun) Webb of Kimbolton, Jay (& Teresa) Webb of Kimbolton, and Richard (& Sallie) Webb of Cambridge; her siblings, Bonnie (& Sam) Fortune of Conesville, JoAnn Cottrill of Coshocton, Pat (& Art) Cruxton of West Lafayette, Jane Towne of Abilene TX, Sue Braniger of New Philadelphia, Ronnie (& Betty) Dixon of Florida, and Danny (& Debbie) Dixon of Port Clinton; a sister-in-law, Marcia Hardesty of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Jack (& Kisha) Webb Jr., Jay (& Samantha) Webb Jr., and Chanell Schmidt; four great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Clayton, Lexi, and Nathen; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her little Jack Russell terrier, Doodle, whom she loved very much.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (December 31, 2024) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Wiley officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
