Ruth Ann Weininger, 91, of Tiffin, passed away at 10:22 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.
Ruth Ann was born May 2, 1930, in Sycamore, to the late Paul P. and Margaret E. (Powell) Konkle. She married Leon Herbert "Herb" Weininger in Sycamore on March 1, 1953 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2016.
Survivors include her three sons, Jeffrey A. (Bonnie) Weininger of Nevada, OH, Jerry P. (Lori) Weininger of Tiffin, Jack F. (Maureen) Weininger of Shelby, ten grandchildren, Jessica Gray, Amanda Morton, Andrea Hines, Nicole, Alicia, Adam, Clay Weininger, Molly Wassmuth, Calli Weininger and Kelli Chamberlain, twelve great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ronald Konkle of Vacaville, CA and James Konkle of Sycamore.
Ruth Ann retired from Heidelberg University Library and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. Ruth was a 1948 graduate of Sycamore High School.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Joseph Weininger and a granddaughter, Angela Weininger.
A memorial service for Ruth Ann will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilyn Coney officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow the services at the Faith United Methodist Church Columbarium. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
