Ruth Winkles

Mrs. Ruth Winkles, age 87 of McDonough, Georgia passed away March 22, 2013. She was born in McDonough, Georgia to the late J.B. and Susie Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerry Winkles and by a son, Wayne Winkles. Ruth was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and was a retired cotton mill worker. She was an avid reader, especially the Bible. She enjoyed church activities and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Paul (Mary) Winkles of Kissimmee, FL, Gary (Judy) Winkles of Locust Grove; daughter in law, Mary June Winkles of McDonough; grandchildren, Patricia Marler, Christopher Winkles, Morris Winkles, Crystal Buckner, Candace Keovongsak; great grandchildren, Jackson, Mason, Izabel and Olivia; brother, Dalton Johnson of McDonough; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 5:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor John Jenkins will officiate.
