Ruth Carol Wissbaum (Wills) returned to the side of our Heavenly Father on October 20, 2025. Ruth was born on October 29, 1938.

Throughout her early years, she was a National Roller Skating Champion and a talented seamstress.

On August 16, 1958, she married her square dancing partner and best friend, David Earnest Wissbaum. As a dairy farmer's wife, life was not boring.

She was active with the Women's Committee, as part of the Missouri State Farm Bureau Board. She often represented the Laclede County area, Missouri and Farm Bureau in front of various committees in Jefferson City and Washington, DC-ultimately winning an award for her achievement in agriculture.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Warren and Roy Wills; her siblings, Kathleen, Warren, Don, Pete and Beverly; and granddaughter, Nichole Vore.

She is survived by both of her children, Cheryl Ann Vore (Jerald) and Joseph David Wissbaum; her loving partner and husband, David Earnest Wissbaum; grandchildren, Stephanie Vore (Joseph), Whitney Witt (Jordan), Stacy Vore, Joseph Cole Wissbaum and Samantha Vore.

There will be a memorial mass for Ruth at a later date at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

Her wishes were to be cremated.

Memorials have been suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
