Ruthann Quintanilla Bargender passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was 56 years old. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10 AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Her family will gather at 12 PM Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for the inurnment in the church columbarium.
Ruthann was born February 2, 1967 on the island of Guam to the late Mr. Joseph Quintanilla and Mrs. Josefina Pangelinan Quintanilla. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Quintanilla. Ruthann could light up any room with her smile and unique laugh. Her zest for life was infectious and the hope in her heart led her to help and share anything she had with others in need. She was a master in the kitchen with cooking and baking and could often be found dancing too. Her determination and hard work could not be denied when it came to caring for her family. In her free time, Ruthann would attend bingo games and was quite good at it.
She is survived by her cherished husband, Robert Bargender; children: Rose Cruz, Robert Bargender, Ray Bargender, Alan Bargender, Regina Toliver, Albert Pangelinan; stepdaughter, Charisha Cruz; 21 grandchildren; sister, Gina Bargender; and a host of extended family and friends.
