Ry'Keem's Life
In loving memory of Ry'Keem Lamar Jones who sadly passed away on the 27th of May 2024. He was born to Nicole Jones and James Edwards on July 2nd, 1994.
He was educated in Northampton County public schools. He held various jobs in his lifetime, the last one being a waterman.
Ry'Keem was a gentle giant with a big heart, regardless of his own situations, who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was truly a good son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He would often express the love he had for his kids on Facebook. He had a special heartfelt kind of love for his mom, especially since he was her first born and only son. It was a bond that could never be broken. Rye, as he was lovingly known, always talked about being a truck driver like his dad. When he would see a tractor trailer on the highway, he would get excited! He would be yelling, "I'm gonna get my CDL's, watch!" He also loved his Colt 45's and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles. Being around family and friends, especially his siblings, living life to the fullest gave him great joy.
Those left to cherish his memories are: his mother, Nicole Jones; father, James Edwards (Terra); children, J'Sai Foster, Mikayia Tull, Zoei Brown, Miracle Kellam and Trae and Lacaya Coston; brothers, Mario Fisher, Jamie Elzey, Jashaun Nelson, Devonte Jones, Dy'Shawn Beckett, De'Montray and Jamie Custis and James (Junebug) and Julius Tankard; sisters, Vinyetta Elzey, Dy'Nasiah and Dy'Quasiah Tull, Keona Smith, Lanequa Beckett, Nyeisha Custis, Jy'Asia Savage and Tamia Millie Brickhouse; aunts, Mary (Jerome) Coston, Rebecca (Leonard) Victory, Amy Chase Hull and Vanessa, Angela and Theresa Jones; uncles, Fred Butler, Chacory Jones, Charles Kellam, Thomas Edwards and Frank (Bertie) Edwards; best friends, Derion Baines, Bobby Gaskins, Keshawn Coston, DeMarcus DWop Barret (Predeceased) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
