Ryan Casey Obituary
Ryan Patrick Casey, born December 17, 1994 to Sean and Laura Casey, left this world far too soon on August 29, 2025. Though only 30, Ryan packed more passion and words spoken into his years than most could in a lifetime.
He is the devoted husband to Cheyenne (Deal), proud father to his little girl, Blakely, and cherished son of Laura and Sean Casey. He is reunited in peace with his baby son, Michael, who passed last year.
Ryan was charismatic, passionate, and endlessly curious. He never met a stranger, because to him, they were just friends he hadn’t started talking to yet. He was a fierce lover of literature, history, and philosophy and had an uncanny talent for accents and story telling. He will be missed tremendously.
A service to celebrate Ryan’s life will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton. Visitation will begin at 2:00. Friends and family are encouraged to come ready to share stories and laughter in his honor.
We encourage friends and family to write down a story or a memory about Ryan that we can include in a Daddy Book for Blakely. Stories can be sent to: [email protected].
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a registered 529 education account for Ryan’s daughter, Blakely. Donations can also be sent to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
