Ryan M. Fitzgerald, 44, of Westborough, Massachusetts, entered heaven on February 1, 2026, after a courageous and long battle with cancer. Though his body was weakened, his spirit never wavered. Ryan faced his journey with quiet strength, grace, and an abiding love for those around him. Ryan’s steadfast positivity lifted us all.
Ryan was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Michele, and a proud and adoring father to his cherished children, Hazel and Hugh, who were the light of his life. He is survived by his parents, Jack Fitzgerald (Debbie) and Jan Volle; his brothers, Brandon Fitzgerald (Adrian) and Sean Fitzgerald (Rebecca); his mother-in-law, Gigi Keyerleber; his brother-in-law, Paul Keyerleber (Kami); and his dear nieces, Avery and Alexa; as well as his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ryan was a highly respected attorney for Dell Technologies, known for his integrity, sharp intellect, and work ethic. He was an alumnus of Georgetown University, Notre Dame Law School, and Syracuse University, where he earned his MBA. His academic and professional achievements reflected his dedication and drive, but it was his character that truly defined him.
Outside of work, Ryan had an enduring love for travel, Notre Dame football, and college basketball. He treasured time spent with family and friends, whether it was exploring the world, vacationing on Cape Cod, relaxing to music, cheering on his teams, or simply enjoying meaningful conversations and laughter.
Ryan will be remembered for his generosity, resilience, loyalty, and humility. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through his children and the countless lives he touched. His legacy is one of enduring love and compassion, a testament to a life lived fully and faithfully.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 9th, from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough, Massachusetts. A Time of Remembrance will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Interment in the Columbarium at Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, will take place privately with his family.
