William G. Uhman, 82 of Westborough, fondly known as “Bill”, “Billy”, “Uncle Billy” and “Boompa”, born in Marlborough, MA. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
He was the husband of the late Barbara “Jeanne” Uhlman. He was the son of the late John and Marjorie (Sheehan) Uhlman and predeceased by three brothers, John (Jackie), Parker (Tinker) and David Uhlman and one grandchild, Jay Murray. He was raised and educated in Westborough, a 1961 graduate of Westborough High School and a member of the Congregational Church of Westborough. He was a very skilled mechanic and founder of “John S. Uhlman Co.” lawn mower repair and later, auto repair and was very well known in town. He was also very handy in woodworking and in his early years, he enjoyed spending time vacationing in York Beach, ME with his family and extended family. Later after retirement, he enjoyed driving the school bus for his grandchildren Lexi and Will and building puzzles with his wife. You could always find him watching or listening to a Red Sox baseball game.
He is survived by his children, James Uhlman of Worcester, Kim Pueschel of Worcester, Kevin Uhlman of Boston, Missy and her husband Gary Fratoni of Westborough and Heidi Uhlman of Washington, NH, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
