Mary Elizabeth Collins, formerly of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. At the Marlborough Hills Nursing Facility.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Donald and MaryAnn (Sharpe) Collins. She was very proud to be one of the first girl hockey players in the Marlborough Girls Hockey League. She also was a color guard in the Marlborough Drum Corp. Mary was a graduate of Westborough High School, she was a gifted artist who enjoyed drawing and sculpting.
Mary is survived by her siblings Margaret Mary Jankins and her husband Steve, Donald William Collins jr and his wife Marjorie, Arthur Joseph Collins, Sharon Collins, Kathleen Dorothy Collins, her former sister in law Diana Collins, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 19, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St Luke’s Cemetery.
A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9 to 10 A.M. at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
