Nancy L. Uhlman, 88, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough. She was the beloved wife to the late Parker Uhlman, who passed away in 2018.
Born in Worcester, Nancy was the daughter of the late Edwin and Marjorie (Foster) Heckman. She grew up in Westborough and graduated from Westborough High School and later graduated from Becker College as a medical secretary. She began her career in Worcester before dedicating herself to raising her family.
Before retiring, Nancy worked for many years as a radiology secretary at Southborough Medical Group.
Nancy cherished time with her family, whether at home or on cherished trips to York Beach and Martha’s Vineyard. A talented knitter, she lovingly created sweaters and keepsakes for her grandchildren. She found joy in the simple pleasures of the beach, travel, and sharing meaningful moments with her loved ones and friends.
Nancy is survived by her three children, Dennis Uhlman and his wife Patty, of Lexington, SC, Brenda Malone of Westborough, and Douglas Uhlman and his wife Kathy, of Westborough; six grandchildren, Dennis Uhlman and his wife Stacey, Benjamin Malone, Julianne Uhlman, Jacob Uhlman, Richard Pratt and Krystle Pratt Daniels and her husband David; three great-grandchildren Ruth Uhlman, Parker Uhlman and Haley Daniels; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nancy is predeceased by her husband Parker, grandson Matthew Malone, and brother Edwin Heckman.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16, in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough.
Her funeral service and burial at Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough, will take place privately with her family.
