Marjorie H. Butcher, 86, of Westborough, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Maplewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Amesbury.
Born in Melrose, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Clark) Harris. She was a graduate of Reading High School and of the Eliot Hospital School of Nursing in Manchester, NH.
Marge was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for the Fallon Clinic and then as a receptionist at Bouvier Tax Office in Millbury.
She was an active member of The Congregational Church of Westborough and had been a resident of Westborough since 1978.
She is survived by one daughter, Dana Howell and her husband, Robert, of Portsmouth, NH, four grandchildren, Meghan Donovan, Kristen Butcher, Kadyn Howell and David Butcher, Jr., one great-grandson, David Butcher, III, daughter in law, June Butcher, son in law, Thomas Donovan and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Donovan, son David Butcher, two brothers, Donald Harris and Raymond Harris and sister Muriel Thompson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29, at 10:00 A.M. in The Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main St., Westborough. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.
