Suzanne Peterson of Ayer, MA died peacefully in the presence of her loving family on October 29, 2025.
She grew up in Holliston, MA and attended Holliston High School. She spent her career in the construction industry beginning with Perini Corporation (Framingham, MA) and lately S&R Corporation (Lexington, MA).
She was regularly active in and loved her church family at New Hope Community Church in Ayer. She had great faith in God through Jesus Christ, and her favorite verse was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). She adored all kinds of animals, especially horses and dogs.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, John G. and Ann Peterson. She is survived by her brother Jack (Huntsville, AL), sister Sally (Martin) Hayes (Shrewsbury), and sister Nancy (Dana) Hewins (Lakeville, MA). She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all who know and love her. A celebration of her life will be held sometime in the future.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the ASPCA or to New Hope Community Church (139 Sandy Pond Rd, Ayer, MA 01432).
