Please accept my apology for this delayed note, but I just learned of Ryan's death. I I’m heartbroken to hear of his untimely death., I knew he was medically fragile but he was so young & such a good all around guy who embraced life that it was easy to forget how serious his epilepsy was. You have my deepest sympathy. I feel terrible that I'm sending this nearly 5 years later, I managed a motel for a few years in Cascade Locks & had no idea until ireferenced another friend's passing and saw the notice for Ryan.

Ryan was an extraordinarily special person who touched many lives. I was so lucky to know him , and you, Sherry. I have let time get away from me but I have wanted to both apologize for not being as supportive as I should have been and not letting you know how forever grateful I am to you for putting up with me - you and Ryan both extended me a lifeline when I was having the hardest time of my life and I don't know what I would have done if not for the two of you. Thank you for the many, many kindness' you showed me. I know how much you and your family love Ryan and must miss him terribly while cherishing his memory.
You and Ryan made a difference in my life and I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Warm regards,
Amy Carrick
