Ryan Loper

Mr. Ryan Andrea Loper, 28, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on April 2nd, 2024 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS surrounded by family members who loved him deeply. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, October 30th, 1995.
Ryan was a wonderful father who adored his babies. He always made sure to hug his family and friends and tell them that he loved them. Ryan started his very own business as a heavy machinery diesel mechanic, which was impressive to be so young. He was rarely seen without a smile and grease under his fingernails. When he wasn't spending time with his children, he could usually be found in the woods hunting, tinkering on some machinery, or doing something else outdoors.
Ryan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hance C and Emma Merle Loper, and his maternal grandparents, Junior and Nellie French.
He leaves behind a large family who will miss him immensely, but they have found comfort in knowing that he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his parents, Dewey Ray Loper and Ellen Denise Loper; wife, Alyssa Blackwell Loper; children, Kenzington and Kolter Loper; siblings, Cain Loper (Dora), Kasi Loper Pugh, Boone Loper (Amy,) and Holly Sherman (Timathy;) as well as his nieces and nephews, Dylan Pugh (Savana,) Damon Loper, Payge Davis (Austin,) Jake Loper (Jaden,) Wyatt Pugh, Charleigh Claire Loper, Cooper Sherman, Trace Loper, and Cali Loper.
Ryan was blessed with many special mentors in his life, but his Uncle Sooner and Aunt Cissie, along with Brent and Mitzie Palmer especially had a hand in helping him to become the kindhearted man that everyone loved.
Ryan has been described many times as someone who would give others the shirt off of his back. Ryan gave in death as he often did in life through one final act of love. He died a hero through organ donation, which helps others to live.
Visitation for Ryan will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Crossroads Cemetery, Strengthford, MS.
