Ryan QUINLIVAN Obituary

Ryan Michael Quinlivan passed away on June 25, 2025, in Spokane, Washington, at the young age of 26.

Born in San Diego, California, Ryan lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and love - always with his perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

He graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School in 2017, and went on to attend Eastern Washington University, where he was a beloved member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Whether you knew him as a brother, a son, a friend, or just that guy who was somehow already at the bottom of the ski run, Ryan was unforgettable.

He was an extraordinary skier, fearless to the core, especially on the slopes of Schweitzer Mountain. He loved wake surfing at Hayden Lake, spending time with his best friends, movies, dressing up, dancing, jewelry, and cats.

More than anything, Ryan had a kind heart. He lit up every room with his loving personality and the ability to make any situation funny. He had a special bond with his mom, and just loved being along for the ride.

Ryan is preceded in death by his father, Michael Quinlivan; grandparents, Edward and Alecia Quinlivan; and grandmother, Shirlee Shepherd. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Quinlivan (Bud Dygert), sister, Christine Quinlivan, stepmother, Lisa Vail, and a large extended family who adored him beyond words.

His passing leaves a gaping hole in our hearts, and we cannot wait to see him again.

Ski fast, Ry. We'll see you on the next run.
