Ryan Renfrow, 42, a longtime resident of Safety Harbor, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 7th. The light of this beautiful soul came into the world on November 14, 1981, in Dunedin to the late Floyd Renfrow & Suzanne Pickard Renfrow and older brother, Jay.
Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Julie, their children Costa & Madison, Thespina &Steven, Vasiliki and Dimitra whom he loved dearly, and grandchildren, Myra, Emmy, Obi, Oliver, Greyson, and baby Elliana soon to be born. Ryan is also survived by his devoted mother, Suzanne, brother Jay (Sue), and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Florida, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
Among Ryan's happiest moments were those with a fishing pole in hand under a sunny Florida sky. His love of fishing started as a tow-headed child and was only surpassed by his love of the many dogs he cherished over the years, especially the gentle Mastiff giant, Brinkley.
Ryan graduated from Countryside High School where his engaging personality and joyous temperament colored everything he did. Throughout his life, Ryan endeared himself to countless friends and colleagues. Many of them shared his love of the outdoors, whereas an avid fisherman, Ryan was most at home on the Safety Harbor Pier and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
A Celebration of Life for Ryan will be held on Tuesday, November 12th at Curlew Hills Memory Garden, 1750 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor. The family welcomes Ryan's wide circle of friends and acquaintances starting at 9:30 a.m. followed by a brief service. All are invited to lunch afterwards at Shelter 7 at Phillipe Park in Safety Harbor
