Kenneth L. Dailey

Ken Dailey, at the age of 70, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 2, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. Ken moved to Florida in 1978 where he built his life, career, and raised his family.

Ken retired three years ago from the Pinellas County Property Appraiser's Office, after a career of dedicated service.

Ken was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen Dailey; children, Travis Dailey and Caylin Bailey; sister Denise McElney; grandchildren, Benjamin Dailey, Gaby Dailey, and Matthew Dailey; son-in-law, Steve Bailey; daughter-in-law, Michelle Blanco; brother-in-law, Kirk McElney; and his beloved dog, Bella.

In retirement, he enjoyed taking his boat out and spending time on the water. Ken was known for being incredibly handy, always able to fix, build, or improve just about anything. But more than anything, the thing Ken enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

In his earlier years, Ken loved riding motorcycles and backpacking through national parks, always drawn to adventure and the outdoors. More recently, he fulfilled a dream by taking a motorcycle trip through Austria, an experience he treasured.

Above all, Ken will be remembered for his deep love of family, his steady presence, and the care he showed to those around him. His legacy of hard work, devotion, and quiet strength will live on through all who were blessed to know him.
