Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison on Jan. 2, 2026.
Ryan Lee Rose, 45, of
Harrison, AR, joined the Lord on January 1, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of Ronnie and Joyce (Edwards) Rose and Cynthia Bailey.
He graduated from Harrison High School in 1998 where he shined on the football field as a Golden Goblin. He welcomed his first child, daughter Robbyn (Rose) Schoonover, in 1997 and graduated soon after in 1998. Through his diligence and work ethic, Ryan went on to graduate from Arkansas Tech University in 2002, earning a B.S. in Computer Science while raising his daughter. He earned his first job in IT at First Federal Bank before serving the community in other IT roles and ending his career at DAZZEE IT Services where he was the glue that held the team together.
Ryan is preceded in death by his son, Reece Rose; father, Ronnie Rose; father-in-law, Florian Wengel; grandfathers Leon Rose, Hassel (Ed) Bailey, and Bud Kelley; and grandmothers, Betty Bailey and Pearl Edwards
Ryan leaves behind his life and legacy through his beloved wife, Mandy (Wengel) Rose (m. 2006); sons, Bane Rose and fiancée Irene Neeley and Reed Rose; daughter, Robbyn (Rose) Schoonover and husband Robert Schoonover; grandson, Reece Schoonover; mother, Cynthia Bailey; bonus mom, Joyce Rose; mother-in-law, Sharon Wengel; sisters, Rebecca (Rose) Walker and husband Doug Walker and Brandy Egan; brother-in-law, Nick Wengel and wife Kerry Wengel; grandmother, Virginia Kelley; as well as many other loving family members and friends
Ryan was a thoughtful, inquisitive person whose curiosity shaped his life. As a young man, he found joy in building models, a passion that grew into a love of computer programming and networking.
He was also the biggest nerdy goofball, bringing humor, warmth, and laughter to those around him. More than anything, Ryan showed up for his people-always ready to listen, to help, or simply to be present. He was known for his great hugs-the kind that made you feel safe, seen, and steady again. They weren't rushed or half-hearted; they quietly said, I'm here, and you are not alone.
Becoming a Papaw was one of Ryan's greatest joys. In that role, his kindness, patience, and playful spirit shined brightest, and the love he gave so freely found its deepest expression.
Ryan's kindness and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A visitation will be held at Coffman Funeral Home in
Harrison, AR on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM and a memorial service will be Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home.
