Rylee Kason Thrash, 18, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday evening, October 5, 2024, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital Midtown in Columbus, GA.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm EDT on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Jeremy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to his service at the funeral home in Phenix City.
Rylee was born November 4, 2005, in Columbus, GA to Michael Thrash and Maria D. Martin Thrash. He was a graduate of Russell County High School growing up in the Phenix City / Ladonia Community. He recently entered the family business with his father as a representative of Bama Auto Sales in Phenix City where he was excited about the many opportunities the future would bring serving the Chattahoochee Valley. Rylee loved people, his family, and his many friendships. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, mud riding, and loved the outdoors, especially traveling to Florida and the visiting the beach. He attended Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City and was a Christian by faith.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Jenna Smith, his Papa, Ronnie Smith and his uncle, Johnny Thrash.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Maria Thrash; two sisters, Cher Meroney and husband Brady, and April Thrash; one brother, Justin Turnbull; his Nanny, Mildred Smith; two nieces, Preslie Weeks and Kennedie Meroney; one nephew, Miles Meroney; his sweetheart and girlfriend, Madison Donaldson; several cousins, other loving family members, and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers and food, his family request to make all donations to Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City in loving memory of Rylee Kason Thrash.
