Sabra B McCoy, 70, native of Cleveland, TN entered the presence of Jesus on Saturday January 17, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland, TN on June 16, 1955 a daughter of the late Isaac R Maples and Mary Mitchell Davis. She was a loving wife, mother, Meme, and sister who enjoyed spending time with family. Sabra was a devoted prayer warrior for many and loved to serve the Lord by singing in choir at First Baptist Cleveland. She was active in the Cleveland Emmaus community, Miss Cleveland pilot club, an avid quilter, and worked for years helping others at Reba Garrison State Farm.
In addition to her parents, Sabra was preceded in death by her step-father CE Davis and brother Franklin Maples.
Sabra leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 42 years James "Terry" McCoy, one daughter Holly McCoy, grandson Deegan Maney, step-daughter Lisa Stoffers of Davenport Iowa, step-grandsons Andrew Martins, Jeffery and Matthew Stoffers of Davenport, Iowa, two sisters Sheriee Davis-Wyatt, Teresa Maples, one brother William Davis and Beth, Brother-in-law: David and Jackie McCoy. Niece Kimberly Helms and Kevin, Nephew Ken McCoy and Claire, Niece Lacy Maples along with several great nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved dearly. She is also survived by a host of special friends along with her Emmaus community family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, January 22, 2026 in the Shelli Cody Memorial Sancutary of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will began at 7:00 PM led by the Reverend Tom Wickes. The interment and committal service will take place on Friday morning, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
